Ōtepoti Community Wellness Hub

We are a free to the community service offering mental wellbeing support to anyone experiencing distress or difficulties. The communal spaces we have cater to many different interests and group activities. We are always open to new ideas. This creates an inclusive and welcoming social place where everyone from our community can readily access non-judgmental support.

1:1 Wellness Plans, Support and Group Education

We have one-on-one spaces where we can talk through your goals, journey and struggles. Our diverse staff group means you can have the right person with the right knowledge and personal experiences to support you. We're here to work alongside you on your life journey.

Whānau Inclusive Space

We understand the importance of whānau involvement when reaching out to supportive services like ours. Our space includes a child friendly room, with the same home comforts that are needed to accommodate and entertain young children in a low-stress environment.

Pathfinder

A pen-and-paper role playing game that uses dice and imagination to tell a story. We have up to 6 players per game. Create your own character and join an adventure, exploring magical worlds, guided by our Dungeon Master, Kai. Feel free to get in touch with them for more information.

Do I need a referral?

No. We are open to anyone in our community in need of help

When are you open?

We are open every Tuesday 9-3pm and Thursday 1-8pm

Can I bring a support person with me?

Yes. We welcome you to bring a support person to our space with you, this can be comforting especially in the first few visits.

How long do I have to come in for?

We are happy to have people stay as long as they are comfortable to. We do expect to have a communal or 1:1 chat about how things are going for up to 1 hour.

Can we provide food help?

We currently don't help with food parcels. We do provide shared kai in our space for lunch on Tuesdays and dinner on Thursdays.

What if I don't have transport?

We have a car dedicated for our fully licensed staff to pick up and drop of visitors that are otherwise unable to get here.
